Shadow Warrior devs release first look at new IP, Evil West, at The Game Awards

Flying Wild Hog, the Smoothen developers behind the cult Shadow Warrior serial, revealed the first official look at Evil Due west, its new IP that's ready to release in 2022.

The Wild Due west-inspired singleplayer or co-op adventure has players defeat vampires across the frontier. You play Jesse Rentier, one of the last living agents from a tiptop-hush-hush vampire hunting organisation. The official website says that y'all're then tasked with saving the United States! (exclamation mark included).

Based on the trailer, the game looks to be high-action and encarmine — generally what Flight Wild Hog was known for with its Shadow Warrior series. Tin can also probably expect some mature language and themes equally well. Players can hunt vampires solo or with a friend, although information technology's unclear if those will be dissever modes. The game will be narratively-driven and as you play you can upgrade your weapons and gear.

The game will be out across platforms — PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|Southward, PlayStation four, and PlayStation 5 — in 2022. Preorders aren't available just yet, but you can wishlist the game on your platform of choice.

The studio is still too working on Shadow Warrior 3, which is set to exist released in 2022 on PCs. It'southward a sequel to the 2nd game, but has been described as an upgraded version of the 2022 reboot. Publisher Devolver Digital revealed footage during its not-E3 issue this year. Looks like 2022 is going to exist a big year for Flying Wild Hog — assuming at that place aren't whatever delays similar we've seen in 2022.
